Wingrave Archive Association.

The Wingrave Archive Association was set up in January 2003 to establish, manage and maintain an archive of the history of the parish of Wingrave with Rowsham and to make this accessible to the inhabitants and other interested parties.

Membership of the Committee includes Prudence Goodwin, Margaret and Ken Morley, Liz Hall, Lesley Williams, Kim Martin, Janet Biddle, Robin Moat (Chairman), Andrew Muir (Secretary), Bill Phillips (Treasurer) and Dominique Moat.

The Association demonstrated a computer database of Wingrave photographs at a recent exhibition held at the United Reformed Church as part of the Jubilee Celebrations. Currently a number of early photographs are being scanned at high resolution and stored on compact discs (CDs) in TIFF format. The examples shown below have been reduced to a resolution of about 100 dpi (dots per inch) and converted to jpg format so they can be incorporated into this page of the WWW.

Individuals who are interested in the work of the Association are invited to get in touch with one of the members of the Committee or its officers.
