8.1 Findings

Good sports facilities already exist.

It is gratifying that the demand for a skate park has
been met with such speed, thanks to the initiative of some parents and the
youngsters themselves.

There is space and scope for organised cricket to be
played again and for the development of minority sports (e.g. archery,
boules, croquet, etc.) but only if sufficient interest is identified.

Both the Recreation Ground and the Park provide
excellent areas for relaxation for the villagers.

8.2 Recommendations

Encourage minority sports and to re-form a Wingrave
Cricket Club if there is sufficient interest.
